Kathryn Carner – At-Large Board Member

Actor, performing artist and administrator, Kathryn is a graduate of University of Colorado and the internationally renowned Dell’Arte School of Physical Theater. In the 1990’s she co-authored and performed her solo show Wisdom While On My Back, touring the west coast.  She was also an acting company member for King’s Court Play’rs and TheatreMaker in San Francisco.

Currently, Ms. Carner is an acting company member of Tim Robbins’ The Actors’ Gang, and Director of Operations for their Arts in Prison program. She recently co-starred in the ensemble-developed, international touring production The New Colossus.

A few of her previous film credits include acting and producing: A Foreign Exchange Love (2014), Finding Red Cloud (2008) and A Night at Sophie’s (2004).

On behalf of Placer Repertory Theater as an at-large board member, Kathryn keeps her eye on the national scene and plays a key role as Placer Rep’s new works, that premiere in Placer County, tour regionally and nationally.

She also performed the role of Anne Elliot (the female lead) in A Jane Austen Holiday, featuring a livestreamed reading of the new play Persuasion over zoom in December 2020.
