Mark Hoffman – Treasurer

Retired Clinical Psychologist, and active music, stage and screen performing artist.

Having received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from BYU, Mark’s professional career spanned more than 30 years, covering a broad spectrum of experience, administering and/or working in acute and rehabilitation medical, community mental health, managed care, correctional, and private practice settings, providing psychotherapeutic, neuropsychological, forensic, and marital/family counseling services.

As a performing artist, Mark has worked professionally and in community organizations over the years as an instrumental musician, vocalist, and actor.

Kathryn Carner – Board Member

Actor, solo performance artist and administrator, Carner is a graduate of University of Colorado and the internationally renowned Dell’Arte School of Physical Theater.  Currently, Ms. Carner is an acting company member of Tim Robbins’ The Actors’ Gang, and Director of Operations for their Arts in Prison program. She has been on the board of directors for Placer Repertory Theater since its official founding as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in April of 2020.

Robert Bruce Forsyth – Interim Board Member

With a degree in Business Administration, Robert is currently the Procurement & Inventory Control specialist for Placer Rep Presents, the producing arm for Placer Repertory Theater.  A senior Area Account Manager for Regal Rexnord, Robert travels the state solving engineering and materials needs of industry in motion, as he mentors and trains distributors and end users.

His performance background includes graduating from San Francisco Comedy College, and performing in comedy clubs primarily in the Western U.S. (San Francisco, Monterey Bay Area, Reno, Las Vegas and Austin Texas), including professional clubs like Punchline, Rooster T. Feathers and Laughs Unlimited. You may recognize Robert from a guest appearance on one season of Last Comic Standing (NBC).
