Rocklin Historical Society

Placer Performing Arts & Cultural Center (PPACC)
Led by the vision of Roger Peterson, long-time Rocklin resident, the Friends of the Placer Performing Arts & Cultural Center are partners who are appealing to residents, county and city officials to envision the next great project for the area: A Performing Arts & Cultural Center, similar to the Harris Center in Folsom, or the Sophia Center, in Sacramento.

Colfax Elementary School District
Colfax Elementary School District and Superintendent Andrew Giannini, are the scholastic visionaries who provide the support for the 2023-2024 Placer Repertory Theater VAPA Academy of Colfax.
The Placer Rep VAPA Academy program has three formats: Intersession (1 week all-day), Summer (5 weeks all-day) and Extended Learning (36 weeks, after school). Through expert facilitation, students learn to creatively & imaginatively conceive, plan, author, collaborate, lead functional groups, direct, design, craft, produce and perform age-appropriate new works relevant to the students, reflective of their individual voices and collaborative group voice.
Huge thanks belong to Superintendent Andrew Giannini and the for their scholastic creativity and vision, and provision of funds and support for the PRT VAPA Academy of Colfax program.

Roseville Historical Society
It was a pleasure to reach out to our partners and friends at the Roseville Historical Society, who were so very charming as well as supportive of our new work about the history of the Rocklin Roundhouse and the subsequent construction of a new roundhouse in Roseville. The Roseville Historical Society operates The Carnegie Museum at 557 Lincoln Street in Roseville, CA.
Placer Repertory Theater company members look forward to the day when we can all meet in person and dig into history together to develop more local area, history-based plays.
