Placer Repertory Theater is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that serves Placer County and surrounding areas.
Placer Rep won five regional theatrical awards for their 2021 season from Broadway World and Gold Country Media.
As of Summer 2022, Placer Rep has won the following honors/awards:
- Two ACPC project grants for the Artistic Director to develop Ghosts of Placer County
- Two sponsorship awards from Armrod Charitable Foundation
- The Gloria Burt Sacramento Region Arts Fellowship in literature for Ghosts of Placer County
- Finalist: Stage Directors & Choreographers Foundation, Denham Directing Fellowship
- Gold Country Media – Best of the Best:
- 2022 – Best Live Theatrical Group
- 2022 – Best New Business
- 2022 – Finalist – Local Hero
