Mark Hoffman, Ph.D. – Board Treasurer

Retired Clinical Psychologist, and active music, stage and screen performing artist.

Having received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from BYU, Mark’s professional career spanned more than 30 years, covering a broad spectrum of experience, administering and/or working in acute and rehabilitation medical, community mental health, managed care, correctional, and private practice settings, providing psychotherapeutic, neuropsychological, forensic, and marital/family counseling services. He’s held positions as Chief of Mental Health at F.E. Warren USAF Hospital, Clinical Supervisor with Big Horn Behavioral Health, Chief of Psychology & Social Services, and Acting Clinical Director at Northern California Center for Rehabilitation, a member of the Wyoming State Council on Psychosocial Rehabilitation of Cancer Patients, and he is a recipient of the Milton Erickson Award of Scientific Excellence … in Hypnosis.

As a performing artist, Mark has worked professionally and in community organizations over the years as an instrumental musician, vocalist, and actor. He has been a cellist with civic and regional orchestras, a guest soloist on cello and as vocalist, and was artistic director for the Capital Quartet. He has been a vocal soloist with Capitol Opera Sacramento, and for performances of Handel’s MESSIAH in Arizona and California. Acting credits are numerous, and he is particularly fond of performing premieres of new works.
