History has never been so HILARIOUS!
Pilot Program. Rifts in Time: Interactive Adventure Theater
Storytelling that uses role-playing game elements and improv to explore real historic events!
RECAP:
- We finished 1888 Jack the Ripper and the 1692 Salem Witch Trials,
- Traveled back 2 million years to scrapple with the homo erectus of South-Eastern Africa and
- Chased a black-robed being through WWI Poland, 1969 – 1971 Detroit Michigan and 700 AD Persia to retrieve Rostam’s Babr E Bayan coat of invincibility (which turned out to be a Kevlar vest!?!)…
- 1950s, 1960s, 1990s California (William R. Heart, Kennedy half dollars, Berkeley Professor/solar power plant), Bell Labs 1960s, 1907 COLFAX CA)
- 1902 Athens Greece, learned about the villain creating rips in the fabric of time, stole the Antikythera Machine from the museum.
- 1517 Leonardo Da Vinci and 1799 Napoleon in Egypt, returning to France with the Rosetta Stone – but we STOLE IT!
- Antikythera Island about 75 B.C.E.
- Darkest Observatory in the world, then Las Vegas, Baby, for the ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN!
PILOT EPISODES CONCLUDED ON OCT 23, 2022
- Did we save the universe??? For now…
This program will be on hiatus in 2023 until a venue and sponsorship/funding are acquired.
